AI-Assisted Ideation · Virgin Voyages
Speed is useful. Judgement is essential.
Fast visual exploration creates options; craft, taste and direction decide which ones deserve to move forward.
Fast visual exploration creates options; craft, taste and direction decide which ones deserve to move forward.
AI-assisted ideation is useful because it can open many visual routes quickly. That speed is not the finish line. The important work is choosing, editing and developing the directions that carry a clear idea.
For a Virgin Voyages pitch with The Mill, I worked across AI-generated imagery, Photoshop, pen and sketchbook to create a broad field of approaches and style options. The tools made exploration faster; traditional visual skills helped me judge composition, perspective, colour and storytelling.
More output makes taste and direction more important, not less. I use AI as another part of the toolkit, then rely on craft to turn possibility into a purposeful creative route.
