Project overview

For The Chemical Brothers featuring Beck’s Wide Open music video, directed by DOM&NIC and produced by Outsider, I created concept art for the film’s striking visual world. The work explored the transformation of dancer Sonoya Mizuno from human form into a translucent, fully CG structure, balancing organic movement with mechanical and cellular design language; with choreography by Wayne McGregor and VFX by The Mill, the video won Best Dance Video and Best VFX at the 2016 UK Music Video Awards, a D&AD Yellow Pencil and a Gold Lion at Cannes Lions.
